On Tuesday, January 9, the Grammys announced this year's recipients of Lifetime Achievement Awards: singer-songwriter Neil Diamond, British rock band Queen, and the queen of rock and roll Tina Turner.


Drummer Hal Blaine, country legend Emmylou Harris, late rock-and-roll pioneer Louis Jordan, funk band The Meters will also receive the prestigious award.

Determined by the Recording Academy's National Board of Trustees, the honor is given to music personalities who have made exceptional artistic contributions to the field of music recording.

Also, a special award presentation ceremony and celebratory concert will be held in summer 2018.
