The legendary singer, songwriter and performer announced that he will be retiring, and has canceled the third leg of his 50th Anniversary tour to Australia and New Zealand that is set to take place in March. Tickets purchased will be refunded.

Neil Diamond also thanks his fans worldwide.

The 'Sweet Caroline' singer, who will turn 77 on Wednesday, will be honored at the Grammys on Sunday and will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
